On September 22nd, 1776, Nathan Hale spoke his famous last words before being violently hung for espionage against the British Army. For two years, the Continental Army was plagued by the superior reconnaissance that the British were able to gather. But in 1779, Abraham Woodhull sent his first intelligence report, establishing the Culper Spy Ring and forever changing the course of the colonies war for independence.
Abraham, a farmer by trade, allies with his childhood friends building connections in New York City where the British Army is headquartered. Robert Townsend directs intelligence within the city and employs the talents of Sophia De Lancey who is able manipulate a chief British officer.
